It was a real fucking 'Define irony' tune...I mean, it was a song about the plight of the Aboriginal people, sung by a white band poking shit at the white folk who stole their country, purchased and sung freely in public by said white folk..

I was DJ'ing in the service from 1985 to 1991 and I'm familiar with only one Midnight Oil song that was popular stateside: Beds Are Burning.

FQ- to me they fit the 1-hit Wonder definition in the U.S.

A band that has hits all over the world, releases a multitude of albums and tours the world multiple times cannot be considered a one hit wonder just because it fits in the confines of a few peoples narrow minds..
