Say you had the chance to change one piece of history, (for example, kill off Hitler as a baby), and you could foresee what the alternate reality would be, (maybe a more viscous ruler is put into Hitler's place-some who not only kills Jews, but also goes after 10 other nationalities). Would you still kill Hitler, knowing his replacement is going to cause a million more deaths?

Nazism would have happened without Hitler, who's to say the alternative fuhrer wouldn't have been even more bloodthirsty and killed more jews than him?

I do believe life begins at conception.
Just because science gives the baby a scientific name, embryo, it
doesnt mean its not a baby, a child...a human life.
Im not sure what you mean "someone like me". My politics are all
over the map and fall dead center of independent. I am green on
some issues, liberal on some, conservative on others. I dont adhere
to any set of rules, dogma or platform. I choose my positions based
on my own research, that of others, opinions(as I am actually very open-minded),
statistics...whatever is out there that will help me understand
an issue from all sides, then make my own decision.
As a mother who is carried a baby to term 3 times, and have misscarried
twice, I cannot find a way down the path of pro-abortion that will
ever make it an ok choice in my mind. It doesnt mean I judge others
for doing it. I dont agree with it, but Im not going to point my finger in
their face and yell murderer, nor would I picket or blow up a clinic that
does abortions. We all have to live our own consequences...good and bad.

I'm not pro-abortion. I'm pro-contraception (I think we should be handing it out free and maybe putting it in the water in certain areas) and pro-choice (to a point--I would support banning late term abortions and I wouldn't mind some other restrictions).

They had a baby in the movie. It was 24 weeks. It was a baby. It had hair and was so cute (well, it would have been cute if allowed to live). Disturbed the hell out of me.

I come down on the pro abortion side, and pro birth control, and pro drug testing before you get any of my money side. Funny thing is, they kind of all get wrapped around each other. I figure abortions are a lot cheaper to finance than raising a house full of car theives and drug dealers and whores is.
I think they should have birth control pill dispensers at the water fountains at schools. There are to many people on this planet to start with and damn sure to many of the non contributing kind.
Oh, and I would have capped hitler too, in a heartbeat. I got more bullits for the next guy that comes along in his place too, I figure if I get to shoot one, I might as well get a shot at the next one.
