HOTD, I have not disclosed intimate details like this about my personal life. Especially my family. I have listened to enough uneducated unsubstantiated minimisation of what is factual. You are entitled to your opinion HOTD. Having said that, it wasn't said to you so you are not in a position to make that judgement call. Things that are deemed acceptable and appropriate in your world may not be acceptable by the mainstream. I know that it is not acceptable by mainstream America. I have seen this subject discussed in the media, and now I have been confronted with and experienced it first hand. Far from racism being hidden in this forum, it is flaunted as an asset to be proud of.

Regarding elitist snob, I watched this show called "Pretty Hurts", its a new reality show about nip and tuck and injections etc. There was this one patient that came in with her daughter and the mother was Real Housewife of OC (I think), and the daughter was 21 and getting a filler in her lips for her birthday party that would be in Vegas (the mother got something too). The 21yo was so full of herself. She was entitled and overconfident. It was repulsive to watch how in love with herself she was. That's the kind of rich snobbery I am talking about. It's vulgar.
