i saw this Amber Alert first thing this morning, then saw this with no explanation...normally they would have specified "found safe":

in typical sloppy poor reporting, one Fox outlet says he is the baby daddy, one says he is not.

0500**UPDATE: The Cleveland Police Department has canceled the amber alert issued for Chaniya Wynn and Latasha R. Jackson. They are not releasing any further information at this time.



(CNN) -- Police in Cleveland, Ohio, issued an Amber Alert on Saturday for a 1-year-old girl who authorities say was snatched off the street along with her 19-year-old mother while on a walk.

The suspect is a "violent sexual predator with felony warrants out of New York," and is armed and dangerous, the alert read.

The suspect, identified by authorities as 25-year-old Thomas Lorde, is an estranged boyfriend of the girl's mother, Latasha Jackson, and the father of the girl, Chaniya Wynn.

The missing girl is African-American, weighs 18 pounds and has brown eyes. She was last seen in a brown and pink stroller. Jackson was wearing a green shirt and a brown leather jacket with fur trim.

Jackson and Chaniya were walking on East 72^nd Avenue in Cleveland when they were abducted, police said.

Lorde is armed with a 9mm handgun, according to police.

Well I know why the amber alert has been cancelled.... Poor baby another child lost!

CLEVELAND - An Amber Alert ends tragically.
According to Cleveland Police, Latasha Jackson, Chaniya Wynn, and Thomas Lorde were all found in a garage on Union Avenue at 2:52a.m. Sunday. All three were found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say that Lorde’s injury appears self-inflicted to the head.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner Office will determine the cause of death for all three individuals.
Thomas Lorde, 35, abducted Latasha Jackson and her 1-year-old daughter, Chaniya Wynn, at about 11:44 a.m. Saturday.

The three were last seen walking south on E. 72^nd Ave. in Cleveland.
Cleveland police issued the Amber Alert at about 2:35 p.m. Saturday.
Lorde was known as a violent sexual predator with felony warrants out of New York.

They both were found dead....as well as Lorde.

An Amber Alert ended tragically around 2:52 a.m. Sunday for a young mother and her baby. Police found the bodies of Latasha Jackson, 19, and her daughter, Chaniya Wynn, 1, murdered inside a garage on Union Avenue. The body of their suspected abductor, Thomas Lorde, 35, was found next to them in what authorities called a murder suicide. Lorde was once the boyfriend of Jackson, but was not the child's father.
