The kids have a snow day. They are happy. I think this is the first one all school year. They really didn't even need to close schools today but they have 8 days they have not used this year so they are using one up. This is the most snow we have gotten all year and it's only going to end up being about 8 inches.

My kids had a ton of snow days last year. This year not a one. Also, I heard the insects will be bad this year b/c the winter wasn't cold enough to keep the population down and I saw about 100 mosquitos outside at lunch yesterday.

I guess it's supposed to snow here on Saturday and Sunday, but not enough for a snow day, I don't think. The ground is too damn warm for anything to stick.
