If any of you women want to punish your man, buy a Geo and ask him to change the water pump on it.

Fucking 8 full hours to change that little tinker toy looking thing and the timing belt, and you can't get to the water pump without taking the timing belt off.

My Crystler 300M is the same way. It's a pain in the ass to fix anything on it.

What's a water pump for? I didn't even know cars still had them. Thankfully, I have a mechanic (and it's not my husband--he'd get frustrated and end up beating the shit out of the car).

Umm ya cars still have water pumps, they are part of the cooling system.

Are you sure were not married to each other? Something about your post sounded so familiar.

Dick, it would have been worth it to take it to the shop to fix it. You basically wasted an entire day fixing that toy car. Isn't your time worth more than what you would have to pay the shop?

It was the first time I have ever had to take a wheel off the car to change a water pump.

So it took you all day, but I bet you had a beer or two along the way. And even with a cuss or twenty and a bit of skin off your hands, you had fun.

And I bet you smiled when you beat the bitch, started it and it ticked over like a watch. A weird ass Japanese collaboration watch, but anyway...
