We both know you like me. I don't know why you pretend otherwise.

That mom knows more than she's saying. She was probably drunk when he gave her a thousand bucks to take them for a week of pedo Disney.

That sucks. Hope it isn't true, but I doubt this ends well.

ABI agents searching for this man, 22 year old Deandra Marquis Lee. He's considered a person of interest in triple murder of twins, babysitter in Lowndes County.

HOPE HULL, AL (WSFA) -
The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is confirming details that have had a community holding its breath for the last three days. The 9-year-old twins from Montgomery and their 73-year-old Lowndes County caretaker, missing since Sunday, have been found murdered.

On Tuesday the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department requested the ABI's assistance after the bodies of one adult and two children were found on a dirt road off Alabama Hwy. 21 near Hayneville. Those bodies were confirmed to be the DeJerinett twins and their caretaker.

Agents have developed a person of interest. Authorities are looking for 22-year-old Deandra Marquis Lee.

Lee has a criminal record and is out on bond from Dallas County for being in possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest and violation of a license to carry a pistol.

Lee is considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a black male approximately 5'6" tall weighing 175 pounds. His last known address was on Thomas Avenue in Montgomery.

If located, contact your local law enforcement agency or ABI Special Agent Matt Bowman at (334) 242-1142. If you wish to remain anonymous, call the crime tip line at 1-800-392-8011.

A motive is unknown at this time. We continue to work to gather more information. Please check back.

This is sad. I wonder if it was random like a car jacking or if this guy had ties to the children. I feel a bit bad now thinking the old man had something to do with this. Maybe he was just an old man who thought of the children as grand kids.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

the guy was tried for 2 murders a few years ago and walked.

there is speculation he was the mom's boyfriend.

some asshole judge recently let him out on bond on other charges.

This is very sad. Seems like old man was just their caretaker (adopted grandfather?) after all.

I wonder if the mother knew something went down. Her use of the past tense when talking about Jack Girdner still strikes me as suspicious.

I also wonder if Rev Al and Jesse are heading down to Alabama to look into the possibility that this was a racially motivated crime Sarcasm01

He is obviously a younger man. She should have been with her kids, not out partying. That's what parenthood is. Some of these women want to continue the 'single' life after they have kids, and it's just not possible. This is the worst case scenario right here. I am so sorry for the whole family that will have to grieve this horrible nightmare. I feel sorry for her too. Those poor poor kids.

Apparently the mom was at work.

So many parents hurt their own kids lately, I usually assume it was their fault.

This lady did all the right things, I guess. She was working and had someone she trusted to watch the kids. Unless the killer is someone with whom she associates, then I blame her again.

That's awful that the mother was working when this happened to them. I wonder how and why this guy is known to the family? You have to be so careful when you have kids the responsibility of being vigilant about who you let in your life and through your front door. That guy is the devil.
