Two things;

All the primitives were far smarter than we give them credit for.

Before 2000 BC they were a lot smarter than we are and most of them had more knowledge than we do.

Was that before or after the flood wiped everyone out?

Cladking - What are your thoughts on Hancock, Schoch, West and the like?

I "know" these guys pretty well so my public opinion isn't entirely open. Most are well meaning and intelligent. Perhaps none of them are the self deluded nincompoops they are purported to be but some there are those holding onto reality by the slimmest of threads.

I believe many of them will be proven at least partially correct in the long term. Even Schoch and Sitchen have some valid points. I don't really understand why it is that when an orthodox thinker speculates people throw bouquets but when an alternative thinker speculates they throw buckets.

I'm always hunting new authors in similar or associate areas. After having read much of your work here, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Most of the people I'd recommend aren't well known but I believe they will be proven more correct than most. I know I'm going to leave out someone important so please don't consider this comprehensive. Most are alternative thinkers because they are more likely to be right.

Laird Scranton (there's something here but I don't know what)
Chris Dunn (this guy has it nailed but we're not sure what he nailed)
Steven Myers (has a brand new book out) (it's wrong but very smart)
Archae Solenhofen (very knowledgeable)
Scott Creighton (another new book) (a little less wrong)
Chris Jordan (I'm not sure what to make of this) (surely not entirely wrong)
Carlos (no book yet)
JA West (I'm not very familiar here)

I'm very sorry to say there isn't a single orthodox thinker whom I can recommend except those who specialize. There are a few unknowns for whose opinion I have great respect but none of the writers. Kent Weeks and Flinders Petrie are OK but only because they keep their opinions out of their work, or try. Of course some of the "standards" are written by orthodoxy.

There are dozens I'm forgetting right now. I rarely write lists of people just for this reason.

No one believes me the the answer is in the Pyramid Texts.

When you understand this you'll know everything the ancients knew right up until the early bronze age in 2750 BC.

Sometimes I believe the flood was an ongoing thing that lasted for millinea and then stopped and we merely misunderstand. The world wasn't destroyed by the flood but was destroyed by the ending of the flood.

I don't know but do know the language was confused by the builder from Babel of the tower.

The literal meaning of the words. It's not religion and it's not magic. It's computer code.

I'll even give you a big head start; the Eye of Horus is an opening through which water flows.
