Honey eaters?

I've only read and seen the classic; didn't know there were any modern versions.

The only reason some of the behind-the-scenes details from the classic are being released is that the Pooh Conspiracy Theorists have become more vocal in questioning some of Winnie's feats. That's my understanding.Smiley_emoticons_razz

Tigger does have stealth capabilities, so HotD, you've got a valid point and one that is easily overlooked.

Problem solved.

Bees have a low I.Q. and get distracted easily. Their heirachy is divided only once with a worker/queen mentality. Pooh bears therefore become nothing but a nuisance, and blue ballons incosequential.

Ah, Duchess, I see what you mean about the classic vs. the modern. The illustrations sure are different. I like 'em both, but also prefer the original.

Winnie deserves the honey...

I agree that his stealthness has been vastly overlooked. Tigger was truly the mastermind of the hunny-gettin' operations. Some people miss his genius because it's so easy to get absorbed in his charismatic personality. He went out on a limb to bring home the gold. Tigger props...

No F'in freak'in way.

Disney thought that if you bombard upsidasium 196 with cosmic rays that it emitted upsidasium 194 which has completely different propertis than the 196. 196 is extremely heavy so barely gets off the ground despite the strong repulsion to gravitational forces. But UP 194 is a blue gas with the same amount of repulsion but no mass; it's not only lighter than air it's much lighter than a vacuum.

He had a lot of strange ideas and all of them didn't involve the way other people should live their lives.

My biggest concern with this thing is why he'd name a bear (the pooh). I had believed that this was a highly derogatory (or scatological) term used by young children.

On a side note the ancient Egyptians were very keen on bees and honey. Really.

There might even be evidence that they were aware of UP 194;

128a. The abomination of N., it is dung; he eateth not that abomination,
128b. just as at the same time Set shrinks from these two companions who voyage over the sky.

Notice that the translator simply confused "pooh" with "dung".

The "companion" is apparently upsidasium.

I'm also a little concerned that he'd teach children that it's OK to steal the "life's blood" from our six legged friends just because we have a sweet tooth and they are different.

I bet he wore fur, too.

Thank you but I was pretty brutal to Disney, vegitarians, myself, and Egyptologists and am not sure which you appreciated.

I was trying to be nice to moose and squirrel though.

Could all end in just a few weeks, but then again, what's the alternative?

We'd just end up with Romney standing next to another Disney character only this time that character might be our vice president.
