LAZY OR PRODUCTIVE?
#1

Did you have a nice weekend? Do you use your downtime to do things you didn't get to during the week or do you use that time to recharge your batteries and only do the things you want to do?

In a sense, my weekend starts in a couple of hours as we're headed out to Las Vegas for a few days.

Playing nurse to a sick child. :( Got some cleaning and laundry done...pretty productive I'd say.

Not productive unless you count finishing a good book. I did some laundry as well. Oh and got a mani/pedi. I should have done some yardwork but didn't.

all I did was install a dishwasher, trimmed some hedges, put a new filter in the furnace, and put a new 30amp circuit breaker in. The old one was wiggly and old with burned contacts.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Got some car parts organized, laundry done, cooked some really good cuban, took a couple on a 5 mile canoe trip and got my kitchen all nice and shiny

spent one of the days helping a friend tear wallpaper down (I loath wallpaper) there was like 3 layers of the bastard, Sunday was spent mostly doing yard work and laundry, another two things I am not fond of, so a busy one in all, hope the week goes as quick as the weekend, as am off as of next Wednesday until after labour day.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

My son and I took a trip to visit some friends this weekend. My husband had to work so he didn't join us. So we spent the weekend away, visiting, swimming at the hotel, etc. Unfortunately, when we got home yesterday all the housework was waiting for me. So I spent all day yesterday cleaning the house, laundry, treating our extremely GREEN pool (ugh). The trip was worth it though!

I spent the entire weekend on the couch battling bronchitis and arguing with The Chef about going to the emergency room. I'm only today just starting to feel half dead instead of completely dead. It was NOT a productive weekend at all and The Chef is mad because I wouldn't go to the hospital.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.

Visited family, wined and dined on Sat, got back home (6 hrs drive on an empty autobahn - air-conditioned Mercedes Benz FTW!) on Sunday. I'm not sure if that counts as lazy or productive Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

Did you die? Obviously not, then it was lazy.
