New York (CNN) -- The man killed by a former co-worker on a Manhattan sidewalk Friday was shot five times in the head, the New York Medical Examiner's office said Sunday.

Steven Ercolino, 41, was shot by Jeffrey Johnson, 58, with a .45-caliber pistol before two New York police officers killed Johnson in the shadow of the Empire State Building, authorities said.

And in an amazing display of lack of skill and failure to protect the public injured 9 OTHER PEOPLE.

If I did my job with the equivalent lack of professionalism I'd never work again. I trust its AT LEAST the same for cops.
