UK police arrest Gary Glitter
LONDON -- Gary Glitter has been arrested in connection with a sex scandal involving popular British children's TV host Jimmy Savile.
Police will only confirm they've questioned a man in his early 60s on suspicion of sexual offenses in connection with the Savile case. British television outlets show police taking Glitter from his home.
Savile died last year, and hundreds of potential victims have come forward since police started investigating Savile on sex abuse allegations. A witness tells the BBC she saw Glitter having sex with a schoolgirl in Savile's dressing room in the 1970s. Glitter denies that.
Glitter was convicted in Britain in 1999 of possessing child pornography and in Vietnam in 2006 of committing "obscene acts" with two girls under the age of 12.

heh, same here. "Nice" has its merits, but it always gets the same results. I need rough edges, something that allows for friction, to keep me interested. "Weird" supplies that, and it also happens to be way, way funnier than nice.

I think he got busted in the UK for possession of child porn sometime back, but don't think he did time.
He's been abusing children for ages with his creepy cohort; no secret, imo. I hope he does time in the UK, but he might just walk away from this.

It was vietnam, he had a 10 & 12 year old sex pets, he did two years or some shit max sentance, i think he had been abusing them for a few months before e was caught.

He's a filthy asshole; has been forever. I know his arrest is part of a much bigger child sex ring investigation. I hope he doesn't slip through the cracks this time, so to speak.
