I took a photo at a public location that included a "no entry" sign on Tuesday. The next shot was the view from the point where entry wasn't allowed. If I'd posted them online, no big deal imo.

After reading the full story, I too think Stone's intention was to mock rules of authority, rather than to disrespect a dead soldier. But, I don't think her intent matters anymore. Her choice of timing & location and the fact that it went viral put her employer (which assists the disabled) in a position where it neeed to take action against her in order to maintain its own reputation and credibility.

If Ms. Stone had found a sign about being quiet and respectful at a library or musueum and used that for her mocking photo, I don't think this issue would be getting any attention. Too bad she didn't. JMO...

I can understand the employer firing her if she was goofing off on company time but I think she has every right to have a twisted sense of humor.
