Yes, but I don't go crazy like wiping down shopping carts and stuff. I haven't studied it but I tend to believe exposure to some nasty germs (especially when you're young) builds the immune system.

That's why I let my kids play in the play areas at McD's. It doesn't get nastier than that.

There are facts to back that up, I've seen them.

There have been a plethora of "stories" about the flu this season and I saw one that showed how the germs were spread, that's what inspired this thread. People that don't wash their hands after using the bathroom spread a lot of shit too...literally.

Yeah..you know, after the bathroom break, stuff like that. I always use hand sanitizer after getting gas, or at times when hand washing not available. But, like others I do not go nuts, but am more cautious this season with the flu and all. Not for myself as much as my husband has a compromised system, and I have a friend going through chemo...do not need to be all germy around them.
