I let Thing 1 drive to and from the grocery store yesterday. He did pretty good for his first time driving on the main roads. I was having a panic attack on the inside.
How old we're you when you started driving? I was 16. I've gotten about 7 speeding tickets in 30 years. That's kind of embarrassing.

Got my permit at 16. Parents would not let me go for my license until after graduation. So, got the license at 19..after two tries at road test.

Around 16. I was the last of 4 and my older brothers/sister all got practical cars. I think my dad decided to live out a dream through me. I was looking at some Honda and my dad said "this is more you". It was a yellow and black Camaro. My first car...

I was 16. I loved driving for a lot of years but not so much any more. I spend most of my time out there petrified. I've seen people driving down the highway kissing, fighting, reading, picking their nose, eating with a fork, putting on makeup, texting & watching DVD's.

We are sitting in the barber shop. I let him drive here. I need a shot or something to calm my nerves.

No. I try not to make him nervous. I've only yelled at him a few times. Lol

I started on farm equipment at about 13, permit at 16 and several million miles later I am still here.
