Do you read it? If you don't have a warped sense of humor you would probably be horribly offended by the content.

Last night they referred to the very youngest Oscar nominee (she's 9) as a cunt. I gasped when I read that but I laughed too. *face palm*

On behalf of The Onion, I offer my personal apology to Quvenzhané Wallis and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the tweet that was circulated last night during the Oscars. It was crude and offensive—not to mention inconsistent with The Onion’s commitment to parody and satire, however biting.


I pretty much find apologies meaningless but that's just me.

I like The Onion's satire, even when they push it to the limit. But, that tweet was just stupid; not a whit of wit or satire involved.

I was reminded (not too long ago, by my Mum) it is the intent, not the arrangement of letters, that makes a word "hateful".
