"Recently released video shows a 13-year-old boy receiving a barrage of blows and kicks from three 15-year-old boys as they all rode home in a Pinellas county school bus.
The dispute began on July 9 when one of the three boys tried to sell the younger boy marijuana while the two were in a bathroom at their drop out prevention school, prompting the younger teen to notify school officials, according to WFLA.com.
Later that day, Joshua Reddin, Julian McKnight and Lloyd Khemradj were on the bus when they confronted their peer about the incident and began beating him while the school bus driver 64-year-old John Moody began to panic and call for help.
The 13-year-old boy was left with two black eyes and a fractured arm as he crouched between the seats of the bus and his three attackers fled out the emergency escape door, but not before stealing their victim's money, according to WFLA.com."

Bus drivers are fucking useless when a fight breaks out. Granted this guy is 64 years old, but he didn't even attempt to yell at them.
My experience growing up in Florida and going to public schools is that the majority of black kids act like fucking animals. It's not racist, it's an honest observation.

The only way we will ever get drugs out of the schools is for the kids that don't do drugs to stand up and say no. School officials need to know. These three thugs are idiots. Like User said, now they have bigger problems than being in trouble for pot. I bet they end up in trouble AFTER they turn 18 as well.

Around here, the pot would mean a day or two suspension. The beat down would get them expelled at which point they might have the option (after whatever JD time they had to spend) to go to the county school with all the other fuck ups and thugs.

I'm sure if those 3 boys had the IQ of a melon between them, they might have thought to be more discreet.

These kids attended a school whose mission is:

I'm sure this whole incident was, in fact, part of the curriculum for these "at risk" youths . . . namely: entrepreneurship, distribution, sales, logistics, whistle blowing and defending current market position.

The suspension would not bother them [I know they did not bother me] its like a vacation. The transfer to the school with the rest of the thugs would not bother them [ I know the transfers never bothered me]. It would actually be good for their drug business.
I am not saying it is a good way to look at this, but reality is it is the way they will look at it [most likely].

I talked about this with my sons. They both said don't snitch. He deserved an ass kicking. But 3 on 1 was not fair. And they wouldn't do it on the bus.

That's pretty much how it went where I grew up and within my family when it came to what people chose to do to themselves.
How do you feel about schools doing random alcohol testing of high school students throughout the year, F.U.?
There's a new technology that detects (from a snippet of hair) whether a person has consumed alcohol within the last 90 days. The product/service was just released last month by Psychemedics and is already being used at private schools in Illinois.
Psychemedics looks to be some undertaking some major marketing/advertising designed to penetrate the private school market across the country; a lot of schools in various states are reportedly looking into it.
The ACLU would block such testing at public schools, for now. But, private schools are outside of its reach.
I partied on the weekends in high school (sometimes way too much which was stupid and occasionally not safe), but it was part of the experience and pretty damn good times. Then again, four of my friends/acquaintances died due to alcohol (2 in a single DUI crash) and drugs before we graduated. A whole lot more of my graduating class really wasted out as adults.
I honestly have no idea whether testing and expulsion for failing (and offering early counseling and treatment) would have made any difference in the paths we all took.
Just curious at to how those with children and grandchildren feel about it.
