Then there is this ................
Late Thursday evening, federal agents arrested Tuffy Gessling, the rodeo clown that donned an Obama mask at the Missouri State Fair, for committing a hate crime. Tuffy has been moved to an unnamed detention center for further questioning, possibly regarding terroristic intentions.

The National Report spoke briefly with Mr. Gessling’s attorney, Reid Nosse who had this to say:

“My client is suffering severe mental stress from this incident. He’s broken. From this point on, he will be nothing but a sad clown: a smile painted on the outside, but actually crying on the inside. He will never again wear his squeaky red nose with pride. He was simply exercising his right to free speech”.

A spokesperson for President Obama declined to comment on the situation.

But there was this before and it was OK?

People are soooooooo stupid. It makes my head hurt..........This stuff happens in Russia, China, Iran etc.
How would have thought that shit kickers that work as rodeo clowns would be stupid!?

I'm shocked and appalled.

I saw a lot of that done to George & thought it was a funny as fuck & when I see it done to Obama I think it's just as funny. It's wrong what they are doing to that clown.
What do people expect at a rodeo? Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert?

I know what you mean, I feel the same way about people who don't check their sources before posting shit.
Jesus, I read about 10 of the responses below that article and it doesn't seem like one person realized the site isn't 100% legit.

It's okay, Maggot.
Geez, I read more comments. Excellent troll getting people all fired up over a bullshit story! hah
All the rodeo clowns I ever met were brave courageous hero's that save cowboys lives every day they go to work.
I was once thrown off a bull about 2 seconds after we cleared the gate, it threw me straight up about 15 feet upside down. The bull was looking up at me waiting for me to come down so he could work off a little frustration. Then a clown ran by, slapped him on the nose and the bull took after him and I hit the ground right behind the bull. I scrambled up and made it to the fence.
Handn't been for that clown I would have been stomped and gored, its a deadly sport.
This "You can't make fun of our wonderful emperor Obama" is Bullshit.
It was all fine and dandy to make fun of George 1, 2 and Bill. Negros ain't got a sense of humor?

And rightfully so, asshole. Too bad the clown was there.

Most of the clowns with whom I'm familiar are assholes.

There's John Wayne Gacy, the most kller clown of them all.

Then there's Captain Spaulding.

And, Crusty.

I bet none of them were the fearless shoe-floppin' red-rubber-nosed hero that saved our brave Six from certain rodeo death. They'd likely have been rootin' for a tramplin' instead.

Still, judging by the level of integrity and sincere concern for the well-being of citizens now being displayed by most of our elected officials in the US, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Spaulding or Crusty make a successful run for Congress.

Maybe I'm just a clown bigot and those high profile asshole clowns don't fairly represent the whole of the clownhood; I know there are some nice clowns like Ronald McDonald and Bozo, but they seem to be the exceptions.

Or, maybe rodeo clowns are the cream of the clown crop?

IDK. I guess the key to avoiding Coulrophobia is to know "IT" when you see it.; to avoid being Penny Wise and pound foolish.

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right...
It's good to know the clown wasn't arrested, it would then be tough to distinguish him from all the other clowns that have been arrested. Thanks for checking up folks, It does calm me like a bottle of Nyquil.
on a really hot day.

Yeah exactly, what the fuck do you expect when you sit on the back of a bull in full psycho mode?

Flaring nostrils, scraping hooves and frothing at the mouth is a bulls way of trying to tell you “get on my back and I will put you in hospital”.

Whenever I see rodeo riders or clowns being kicked by horses or gored by bulls I'm like “yeah! Mother nature 1, mankind 0!”
Yeah I really don't have any sympathy for people that get injured while pestering animals for sport.

I agree with you 100%.

Some retards might try and claim that the animals “love it” but its clear that most rodeo animals fucking hate it, that's why they buck and jump so frantically “GET! OFF! MY! FUCKING! BACK!!!

When Steve Irwin died I wasn't thinking “oh dear what a tragedy” I was thinking “that's what you get from a lifetime of pestering and goading wild animals you aussie tit!” Leave the stingray alone! Whoops! Too late!

And when the tiger attacked Siegfried or Roy, I can't tell the difference, sixfootersex will probably know though.

Lol.

You know they have the bulls' balls tightened up with a rope to get them as mad as they are?

If that's true it wouldn't really surprise me.

Its nowhere near as bad or cruel as bullfighting but rodeos do seem to derive their entertainment from having horses and bulls in a pretty severe state of obvious distress and panic.

Rodeos are as American as apple pie. They are in no way comparable to bull fighting. We've got laws here, ya know and those dreadful do-gooders would be all over rodeos if there were anything abusive about them.
