I'd give it a go I have marched up many a hill and mountain in my time.

I'm not opposed to hiking hills & mountains. My issue is with the 1000 foot drop off.

Mountains and hills tend to be high up.

That's what makes them mountains and hills.

I've skied & hiked in mountains many, many times. They are nothing like the pix posted.
