That's footage of two college kids behind a grotto after a St. Patrick's Day Parade in Newark, Delaware last weekend.

"Meh", you say? Exactly.

So happens, a couple of guys in a car cruised by and saw the couple, recorded it, screen-capped it, posted it... So, now the pair is being sought by LE -- there's an anonymous tip line and all.

Jesus Christ. I don't understand why the hell cops are wasting their time pursuing this. Sometimes you get your party on, you're with the right person, and shit happens; big effin' deal. It's clear from the video that they weren't intending anyone to see them and they stopped when the moronic gawkers rolled up. So, what's the harm?

It's blatant discrimination spurred by the moral majority, I tell ya!!! 45846688jerry
How mortifying.
I think the guys who recorded it and turned it into such a big deal should be way more mortified than the trashy lovers. Dipshits.

The lovers are clearly recognizable from the footage; hope nobody turns them in.

AFAIK, their "Wanted" status doesn't include "dead or alive"...yet. BUT, there is a "possible reward" being offered if an anonymous tip leads to arrest. 78

What a waste of LE resources and a victory for uptight busy bodies.

I had heard about this but hadn't seen the pix. Newark is a college town and Main St. is where it's always going on. It's bars, restaurants and shops and on the weekends it wouldn't be unusual to have several hundred college kids out on the street. I don't get what the big deal is, that community has seen way more graphic stuff than this. I won't be surprised to read that the local cops are taking heat for utilizing resources to look for a couple of young people who did the wild thing.

I just went to their local paper to see what was being reported and Lt. Farrall says investigators want to talk to them before deciding what charges to pursue.

I'd also like to add that on that particular weekend in town 73 arrests were made, mostly for alcohol, noise & disorderly conduct offenses. It was one big St. Paddy's Day party.
I wonder if cops would be pursuing it at all if some on-line posters weren't "outraged" and "OMG"ing all over the place. That mighta forced LE's hand.

I could see people being upset and LE pursuing the matter if this pair had been going at it in broad daylight at a community playground, or a park, or on the beach -- places where there are families and kids and a presumption that you'd be seen. That's not cool - pushing "lewdness" charges makes sense to me in that kind of a case.

But, college kids, in a college town, in a public area that looked to be free of others...I think it's a terrible allocation of LE resources, and it's stupid to ask the public for help locating the kids and offering a reward.

Now, if it turns out that these fuckers do this shit all the time and/or they're looking for the exposure, that's another story and I don't care if they get busted. Doesn't seem to be the case based on the current story.
Thanks for the context, Duchess.

I'm sure there was a whole lotta shaking go on that weekend.

I guess sometimes I get frustrated at the amount of time and money spent on silly things while other matters of true public safety and criminal apprehension seem to be neglected.

Ah well, if they get ID'd and charged, they'll learn "shit happens" works both ways, I guess.

There's always stuff like this going on up there, it's a college town and the students outnumber the locals in a massive way. I am very surprised this story went national.
Yeah, college towns typically have the same party culture on the weekends, in my experience.

I doubt the story would have made the local news, much less the national news, if the gawkers hadn't taken the footage viral.

But, the couple chose to do something private in public, so they bear some responsibility for the fact that it's hit a much wider public audience than they could have imagined. It's the LE pursuit and "possible reward" part that kinda surprised me and seems like total overkill.
I gave no problem with them getting in a quickie in public. I would just be mortified if someone recorded it and put it out for everyone to see.

And the cops are wasting time on this.
It always amazes me in this day and age, people still feel the need to conceal sexuality. Of course, I have no desire to walk down the street and see people doing it freely on the sidewalk, but this couple were far from that. They sought a reasonably private spot out of the general view. If the other assholes hadn't of come along and fumed it, no bastard would have known and the only thing that probably would have happened was a good time between consenting adults.
Fumed it? **snicker**
Big fingers, little iphone buttons..

Ramsitis is catching, apparently.
HAHAHAHAHA sorry. I couldn't resist busting on you.

When crash makes a phone flub, I sometimes assume it's an Australian term until you hit him up with a retaliatory bust. Smiley_emoticons_smile

I totally would have rolled with "fumed it". I like the sound of it; gonna start using the term in different contexts and see if it catches on.

Bully!

Stop it!i can't take any more flogging with that big nasty feather you're packing..

One of my biggest peeves is people who don't mind their own business. Every busybody has a big, fat nigga nose they use to sniff around another person's biz. Find a nosy gossip and you'll see a nose the size of Texas.
