I will be out of pocket the majority of the next week or so, My niece (9yrs) was burned by boiling water in a home accident. I will be traveling to check in and be as suppotive as one can be. I would rather be spoon fed my heart than have any youngster be put through her next few months. Kind thoughts for her whether that looks like prayer or something else would be greatly appreciated.
How awful ! Go do what you need to do. We'll be here for you. Prayers on the way.
Poor kid. Good thoughts and prayers for sure.

WTF
People that ask for prayers from people that they know are bad enough, but people that ask for prayers from strangers on a forum they've been on for five minutes are attention seeking fucking morons.

If you're in that much of a need for attention and support, go see your irl friends. If you don't have any, put an extra fifty in the collection plate this week so the reverend pays you a little more attention..

There are a plethora of hearts & flowers forums where prayer threads are encouraged. Mock isn't one of them.

There goes Mac 'n Cheese Wednesday.
It's a kid. Have a little but of compassion.

You're right . . . I'm sorry.

I assumed it was Kraft Mac 'n Cheese which requires boiling water.

They can do the oven variety.

Mac 'n Cheese Wednesday is back on!

I have family in Arizona and know there's an exceptional burn treatment center in Phoenix.

Well wishes for you and your family, ChicagoBorn.

Phoenix has an outstanding burn unit. The kid is in good hands. You on the other hand are in for 120 degree weather. Pack SPF 75 and don't skimp on it.
Well wishes to your niece. I know 3rd degree burns are serious, but at least it was just her back and didn't splash on her face or anywhere else.
I thought 1st degree were the worst, I've had sunburns that felt like 3rd degree.

No 3rd degree is the third layer from the top down.
Third degree can go all the way to the bone. I use to clean for this lady whose brother was a firefighter and had 3rd degree burns to his face, chest and arms. He was good looking too and after that he looked like a monster.
