. . . . . even on the "26"th floor on your building. Smiley_emoticons_skeptisch

People flying drones with "video" cameras are a menace, and S/B considered downright rude, and even illegal. A woman in her 26th floor apartment felt safe that she was above being spied upon. That was until she spotted a drone hovering outside her 26th floor window seemingly taking a video of her while she was not fully dressed. She felt violated, and rightly so IMO. IMO, only LEO's & the military S/B allowed to fly spy drones, and then, only for official business.

What do you think?
Maybe it was "official business" That is a blurred line nowadays, a lot of mistrust in government going around now. I wish there was a scrambler app for phones, you could make a ton of money with that one.
I tried 8 or 9 times yesterday to post the link below about the story, until the 15 minute rule would not let me edit any longer. It always came out like below, and did not work. Did not add [url] at start & end, but it automatically shows up here. Don't know why. (not a puter wiz here) hah
(If you copy an paste http://www. --------- thru 873 without the [url] it works?)

Its because it had a video in it I tried using your link. But the company that did it apologized to the woman at any rate.
I have a couple of what some folks would call a "Drone"
To me its an airborne photography platform, I use it for making pics and vids of wherever I am, out in the woods, on site for work, wherever.
The woman should have been upset and I think there should be penalties for anyone doing such things as in the OP.
The problem is and it is already happening, some municipalities are banning the use of airborne platforms like that. I think thats over reaching.
The news media has made everyone paranoid of anything remotely defined as a "Drone" truth is they are a very handy and useful tool, but like just about any tool they can be misused.
Responsibility is the key, and a lot of people don't have any.

Yes agree, a drone in the right hands can be a magnificent tool.

Right now, there is no decorum in place & or no rules & regulations for drone usage. In time, the drones will most likely become just as common as cell phones. hah
Dunno about that.
With the power of the electronics that are available now and the price it is amazing what you can do.
But its still pretty much a geek inch thing and does require some skill and more than a lithe $$.
Popularity will grow no doubt though
