The shark mistook her for a toothbrush? A hangnail? A jaws movie? I think it was lunch time.

Any other day she would've died.

While we were there, she pulled up most mornings around 7:30 in her pick-up truck and paddled out (by herself). Typically there were other surfers out there but I doubt I'd be inclined to get back on a board after an incident like that. Probably wouldn't want to go in the water at all. *Salutes her with a fully intact arm*
This could be fun. I was scheduled for a haircut/highlight today (at home) but I'm going in for a 15 minute consultation with a stylist out here instead (mandatory, apparently, before you can book an appointment at this salon).

Only I would Google "expensive, high end hair salons Sacramento". hah Fuck if I want to end up at Super Cuts or something. Heh-heh.
When a man gets a bad haircut its a bad haircut. When a woman gets one its a catastrophe.
I laid out in the sun today. It's beautiful here today. I heard its sleeting in NY.

Do you mind tan lines?
They don't bother me really. But I do fill in with self tanner.

True although I like taking some chances. If she suggests I dye my hair a dark red/brown, I might just think about it (although I've BTDT and never got used to it).

It would sort of suck if she does a FABULOUS job. I might have to drive out to Sac every 6 weeks or so if I don't think my regular stylist can match her. Smiley_emoticons_slash

It was. I think its stopped now. Was kinda hoping it would last longer and the roads would be too bad to travel to work tomorrow morning. Not that I don't want to work. I just prefer the evening and overnight shifts.

What did the consultation reveal? Besides paying for an overpriced hair cut that is...
Wellllll, thank you for asking!! She's going to change my color to a tiny bit darker AND instead of using warm blondes, she's going to use cool blondes (to better match my complexion/personality)!!! Plus she wants to take about an inch off the length, layer it some and then she suggested I buy a sea salt spray and scrunch it. It's supposed to give that slightly "just out of bed" wild look. I'm excited! Smiley_emoticons_smile Next Thursday. If you ask your wife questions like that, she must adore you.
Add some BBQ sauce and call it lunch. hah
Haha!!!

Sounds great! So we'll be expecting a post cut selfie.

And oh yes, my wife adores me. So much so I get all the birthday cakes and sex I can handle!

hah

I was going to say I'd jump your Jimbones for a question like that. My husband wouldn't ask me something like that...no birthday cakes or sex for him!! Oh wait...we're not due to see each other for about a month anyway. ONE OF US IS GOING TO HAWAII.

Bwahahaha! I wish it were that easy... but you're welcome to anytime of course.

But that said, karate in Hawaii has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever heard. Seriously.

There is nothing like a new color and hairstyle to lift your spirits and God only knows, you deserve that.
I have not been to beauty shop since July. I decided I could do color at home and I even cut my own hair. I don't even look at the back when I do it..looks good if I do say so myself....I can't sit still during any possible hair appointment. I am like a naughty child and stylist has to hit me upside head to get me to sit still so doing it myself works. I do my own facials so I am my own complete DIY beauty (?) shop....
I am not trying to be a smart ass, but if I want the "just out of bed" look, I just don't comb or brush my hair when I get up. Saves me a bunch of money.....I also can use my fingers to "mess" it up or step outside and let the wind blow it for "wind blown" look.....I did order my own special color from esalon.com (an online hair color company). I like the color but it was too light to put over my darker color so couldn't see any difference. If you are starting with light hair, you will have better results. I wanted more copper/red but I was dark auburn to start with so didn't work and that was my fault, not the company. I think they did a good job of matching color i wanted.
I do a lot of DIY but not when it comes to my hair. I don't want one dimensional hair color (I like the high light/low light combo)...some light brown mixed with the blonde so I rely on a stylist. As far as skin care...platinumskincare.com. They offer a lot of products that are professional grade and I do get some stuff from them. I love this girly stuff. Weee!!!

Donovan, your sig line suits you perfectly. Good job, buddy! hah
I think this is sort of what the stylist was suggesting for my haircut but either way, I'm going to bring in the pic.

Similar...probably more realistic for my hair...

That's pretty much ALL I'm looking forward to this week. Smiley_emoticons_slash
