What did you do today? Do you mind mundane? Can you remember the last time you picked up a phone book?

I'm exhausted Duchess. Had to do two late shifts back to back with day shifts this week. The last time I picked up a phone book was 2 weeks ago. They left it at my front door so I picked it up and tossed it into the recycle bin. I'd prefer mundane to the hours I worked this week. Blowing-kisses
So today I went to best buy and bought my better half a Samsung Tablet A, for her to check her FB & Emails. It has an 8" screen, which is about 3 times the size of her Iphone screen that she is straining her eyes on for a couple hours each day. Never thought she would like checking her FB & emails on her phone so much.
Anyway, It's a surprise, I'm giving it to her in a little over a week, for our anniversary. Can't wait, I know she'll just love it, surprisingly, I love it!

I was at Best Buy for over two hours with the Samsung expert (hell of a nice guy) who helped me set it up. All I had to do when I got home was just install the WiFi ident, which I did, & it all works perfectly.

Next week, when she takes it out of the box, walla, instant "8" inch screen viewing! 44
Very nice Cars!

I'm brewing a huge zit on my chin. 50 years old and I got a zit. It better be gone by Thursday when I leave for vacation.
Thanks rams.

And our grand daughter swears by Proactive acne cream, to get rid of a zit fast. Good luck, and enjoy your vacation like nobody is watching, and there's no tomorrow!
I actually sell Rodan and Fields Skin Care. They are the doctors that created Proactive. They have skin care line for more mature skin. I used some Unblemish on it.
I got a street cleaning ticket, bitched at by two old ladies and a social worker, and pierced by a Bougainvillea thorn.

Other than that, it was a mundane but okay day.

Rams, every once in a while I get a zit. If I put a little toothpaste on it overnight, it's usually pretty much gone the next morning.
Exhausted. Worked an overnight shift after barely recovering and not getting enough sleep from karaoke Tuesday night. Didn't sleep too well today. Got my mail and laundry done today. Put in air conditioners. Chickened out of breaking up with Ginny.

I certainly do. Approx 2 weeks ago, I picked it up from my doorstep, and moved it to the recycle bin.

The entire country must send them out at the same time. I found some at the end of my driveway around the same time y'all found yours.
Looks like I'm the only one who still likes to look at the yellow pages.

And in a pinch, it can double as a shim to level out the picnic table! hah
Last I picked up a telephone book was to get out from in front of the door and toss it in the recycle bin like Kid.
Been a long hard couple weeks, finance problems at work, long hrs, pain in the ass.
I use the phone book all the time, many businesses don't have a website.
Correct, a lot don't, but I would think 95% are at least listed in a Google search.

I will at least flip through the coupons in the phone book (if they have them), there are some decent deals to be had, particularly with food joints.
The first thing I do with the phonebooks is hand them to my husband so he can look at his ad and then throw them out. I track the advertising and we get a little more business from the phonebooks than the internet, mostly older people still use phonebooks. They're not as thick as they use to be though, now they're about the size of a magazine.

There are several different phonebooks we advertise in and some people get mad when I ask them how they heard about us. One guy said "oh hell I don't know, what do you need to know that for". Alrighty then you fucking weirdo, don't tell me.

I know for sure I'll be gettin lucky!!
I'm sick of teenage boys. My son had a few friends over Thursday night and I didn't get rid of them till close to 2pm. Then they had the nerve to come back around 6pm (dinner time!), went to a neighbor's house and all snuck back after I had gone to sleep. So I woke up to a bunch of them cooking breakfast and generally being loud and getting in my way. They're annoying...like ants. I'm going to tell my son he can sleep in a box on the street tonight for all I care but he's NOT going to have any friends at my house this afternoon/evening. Screw that.
Plus isn't he like 16? My son is 17 and still had his friends over playing video games and crap until 3 in the morning until I put a stop to it too. He's practically a grown man for Christ's sake, your buddies who are also young adults don't need to be spending the night on my couch anymore.
