Some of you will remember me asking if you are trashy people. It was a discussion about how much trash as a family you generate a day. I have another mundane question. Do you use a lot of paper towels? I can't live without them and probably go through 2-3 rolls a week. I think that's a lot.

You don't know the half of it. I'm on the verge of batshit crazy. February is the month that lasts 8 weeks and I heard I am about to go under a winter weather advisory. I want to cry. I NEED to get outdoors.
They (the great weather wazoos) say we will get 3-5 inches, I can feel 10-12. Take that you homophobes.
I like talking paper towels.
I can easily go through a roll a day. I use them for daily clean-ups and to wipe down the kitchen and bathrooms, I use them instead of dish towels while I'm cooking, I use them to dust the furniture, I use them if I'm eating something and can get away with not using a plate, I throw a roll in front off the bathroom door when my husband is yelling that we don't have a fucking toilet paper again...

These "professionals" don't know squat. Stick THAT in your paper towel holder and wipe.
Hmmm...Well I thought I was about average with paper towels, looks like an absolute mizer with them now. We have 2 kitchens so we have them in both. I use several when cooking for this and that. I use Clorox wipes to clean the counters in my kitchen. Collectively we probably go through 1 a week average, unless I am in mid mess cleanup. I used a half a roll sunday cleaning my oven, Once the oven was heating to 350 I discovered something had spilled in there and there was smoke billowing out. Had to shutdown and wipe it up before continuing to continue. Other than that I try to not generate a lot of trash, but it happens
I use probably a roll a week. I have these microfiber cloths I use for dusting and mirrors and wiping down stuff. I just throw them in the washer afterwards.
Do you recycle? I'm very big on recycling. My can is full every week.

No, I have a commercial size dumpster here on the farm. The trash company asked for permission to leave a recycle bin here and I gave them permission to do so. They neglected to pick it up for 3 months. Twice! I'm not having trash sit around. They can take their bin and shove it.
I have a 17 year old daughter. Of course I recycle.
