The German people said the same thing about Hitler before he went totally Nutzi.

The German people just had an Iran/German go into a mall and shoot a bunch of innocent people. Germany accepted immigrants and they are getting clobbered by terrorists even though they have some of the most strong gun limitations in the world. German media has not commented on anything and the German government is not saying a word about the reasons behind the attack but I bet the ones that were there will start talking soon. How do you vet an immigrant that virtually has no verifiable past?

I guess they have mentally disturbed people in other countries, too.....last word I heard was it is believed this 18 yr old reported that he had been bullied and seemed ob sessed with mass killings. No link to ISIL, thus far.....just said he had history of mental illness.

The German police have confirmed he was born & raised in Munich and held German Iranian nationality. They have also confirmed he had no political leanings nor ties to ISIS. He was just one more fucked up kid who was obsessed with rampage killings and had researched them. Police went on to say there was likely significance in the timing of the attack given it occurred 5 years to the day Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people in Norway at a youth camp.
I have a question about the flag issue. I recall an article that had said Trump had no flags on display during his speeches. So I thought he was over compensating during the convention and then of course calling the democrats out on their "lack" of flags.
Does anyone recall seeing a recent article about Trumps lack of flags at his speeches?
I cannot of course find that article now.....

I don't recall the article that you referred to and I just did a quick search and didn't see anything. I do know from watching his speeches and rallies that he usually has an abundance of flags. I think he uses them as props, but as you know, my opinion is biased. His set design is usually impeccable, I believe that comes from him being a showman and given his tiny brain he probably believes the more flags present equals how patriotic he is.

The backboard of the convention stages are digital. They can show hundreds of flags or one massive one.
White Russian -- does he, or doesn't he?

Trump's verbal bromance with Putin has raised a lot of eyebrows for a while now, particularly in the national security arena. Then, earlier this week, he invited Russian hackers to find Clinton's emails; after rebuke, he said he was being sarcastic.

We haven't seen Trump's tax returns, so we don't know much about his investments there and vice versa. But, Trump's son is on-record stating in 2008 that the Trump portfolio was very Russia heavy.

This morning, Trump claimed he's never met Putin at all and has no relationship with him. He also insisted that he knew Putin would never invade the Ukraine. George Stephanopolous then pulled up video and interviews of 3 different occasions recently where Trump claimed he had met Putin and how nice and respectful Putin's always been to him, etc... Trump first essentially responded that he was just saying he met Putin before because Putin said something nice about him, and then he said that he doesn't THINK he's ever met Putin.

Jeesh. Really stupid shit, at the very least.

Trump has named his 13 person economic advisory team. No women, lots of Steve's and only 3 of them have experience in economics. Given his very public disdain for Wall St. fat cats it's somewhat surprising it's exactly them who make up the majority of his advisors. 78
Did he call any of them a Czar? Because those Czars can pop up at any given moment.

Nah, he'll leave that to the media, it's up to them to give that title.
Listened to a right wing hawk radio station today, you know the type that ignores the truth to stay on message, and even they can't find ways to put positive spin on this death spiral Trump is doing. Projections are basically saying he has zero shot at winning and is tanking hard, so their take is that he is losing because he is listening to people who tell him to dial it back and use teleprompters, which they say "isn't his strength" lol. They also trashed his tax plan as too progressive and liberal, so the storyline is gonna be that his advisors lost him the election, the game was rigged by Clinton, and he was secretly too much a liberal to win the conservative vote. These fuckers are masters of self delusion.
Today Trump said he would not put any money into the stock market. citing the low interest rate (free money). Its very truthful but something congressmen don't want to see in a candidate. He is right and he is only alienating the party. But nobody ever said he was there to drink the brew or tow any baggage. He owns it.
Everyone has different goals and financial means/objectives which determine what's right for them. It's not one-size-fits-all, that's for sure.

Which congresspersons care that Donald Trump wouldn't put his own money into the stock market? I haven't heard that they're fretting over Trump's personal investment strategy. That's not why he's alienating his party's leaders and others, as far as I've seen. I'm interested in where that's coming from.

What I have heard for over nine months is Trump advising the public, via FOX Business and other media sources, not to invest in the stock market and not to invest their 401ks in equities. First, he said that was because a dooming recession was imminent and the market was in a 2% bubble. Well, the market has gone up 6% since. Then, he said it was because of suppressed interest rates and "scary scenarios ahead" unless the one person who can fix it is elected (Donald Trump, naturally). A crash would be beneficial to Trump's election chances as well, of course.

In any case, I would be surprised if many Americans are divesting or avoiding investment based on Trump's advice, but that's their choice. I think most people would listen to Warren Buffet's advice and their own advisors and instincts over Trump. But, I could be wrong about that and understand why the Fed Reserve doesn't actually appreciate such rhetoric from presidential candidates.

Who the fuck is going to take stock market tips from Donald Trump. He doesn't know shit about the market. Maggot, stop it. You don't have rocks in your head.

Trump is getting clobbered in the polls when it comes to women. He knows it, his campaign knows it, everyone associated with him knows it. He needs help in wooing them to his side so, guess who just joined his campaign? C'mon, guess!

...Roger Ailes. hah
polls smools .................all of them really don't count ya know.

I don't pay attention to all of them. I look at a lot of them but only pay credence to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight and sometimes Real Clear Politics.
I only like using the ones that benefit my side too. 116

Trump went to Louisiana to see the floods, the governor didn't want him to but the people there sure appreciated the visit. Now Obama is going and Clinton will probably follow.

Trump was the only candidate to visit and address the Veterans in DC during the Memorial Day Rolling Thunder Rally. Clinton was in Cali doing a fundraiser & Bama was golfing.

Are there golf courses in Louisiana?
