i didn't vote. i am very fond of MF and understand his frustration. one thing about him, even when i'm being a pain in his butt he tolerates me and remains human. hugs Frank, imamakingyoumeataballs.

I understand his frustration as well.

I just think he needs to let these things run it's course though. After all he did set the rules up to be pretty much a free for all and didn't expect some of the shit that's starting to unfold.

::laugh:: I can understand why you started this topic, I accept responsibility for the timing. But, here is the truth:

1) I don't for a second think I can drown out drama or complaints with some new topics. It never works, and never has worked, anywhere, ever. I'd like to think you'd know that I would know that by now and wouldn't actually think I can just create a handful of topics in one of the forum to make people think Sinister is not a fucked up abusive bitch, that we should stop ragging on Ramsey so much, stop talking about Sinister's locked topic bullshit, sprinkle flowers on newbies instead of torture them, or any other thing everyone keeps yapping about.

2) I don't want to quiet down the drama and complaints - this is a site where people can feel free to bitch and point out problems all they want. I like the drama and complaints, and most of all, not caring. It's a freedom for me I don't expect many non-Admins to fully appreciate. On normal sites you would be a problem for doing that and have to get removed - but not here. So, I welcome the open discussion. Let things run their course? That's exactly what I always do here, even to an extreme (I waited a little too long with Moose, but I was trying hard to give him a chance to mellow out because of his general very high intellect).

3) Recent talks (changing newbie area, adding Purgatory forum, etc.) got me thinking this morning about a "Favorite" forum where all topics are about favorite things to mock. Then I just said fuck it, and made a bunch of threads to see how that went.

So, the real reason I made them: I thought the responses to them would be funny.

Also, Ant - ::finger:: for slapping down my magically distracting favorites threads, even though they have great potential. :cool:

Here i the thing..this will never be a "normal" forum, where people sit around camp fires and play nice with each other ALL the friggin time.

Though I do not actually mock a lot when I am here, I like the fact that one can speak ones mind a bit more openly here than in 24. And not fear getting ones brains splattered.
