I'm inspired to ask after reading in another thread that a school had 43 points of entrance. That sounds like a lot to me, probably because my school was so small. I don't know how many kids were in it but K-12 was all under one roof and each grade had 2 classes with about 25-30 kids.
My high school was 5 buildings on a 25 acre campus built over a massive concrete Civil Defense fall out shelter. About 4,000 students give or take. My freshman year was the first year girls were admitted; 4 girls, 4000 boys. Thank god the 5th building was an all girl school.
We had 21 students per class. It was utter bedlam.
After countless fights, multiple stabbings and brandishing of firearms, my ghetto school was put on lockdown, we just climbed the 8' fence to ditch.
