I think air fryers may have come a long way in the last 3 years. My closest girlfriend has one and she's always raving about it. She loves it and uses it several times a week. The most recent thing she was talking about in regards to it was the sweet potato fries she made. All her comments are positive about it.
I go through phases of wanting cool kitchen gadgets, but my reality is that I really don't want to have to actually use them. 
Does anyone miss those Ronco infomercials?

All that shit just takes up too much space in your kitchen.
That is also true. I don't have the space on my counters for extra stuff.
Sometimes I stick the toaster in the microwave so I have more room to cut stuff up.
