My state doesn't have sales tax and it took me years not to automatically add on a percentage whenever I bought something.

I pay about 6000.00 a year, but no sales or income tax. It works for me and all the states around come here to buy stuff.

My frikin NE state, is the worst! We have Sales Tax, Income Tax, and a damn Property Tax on anything that gets registered!!! Car, (when my car was new, the tax was a little over "$2,000", in addition to plate $200 registration fee) House Tax, Trailer Tax, Boat Tax, Motorcycle Tax, RV tax. (Next, "Air" Tax if they could get away with it)

(In addition to property Tax here in SNAKEland, (I HATE SNAKES) and Sales Tax. and car plate registration fee. luckily No Income Tax)

Some of the Draconian measures some Governors have imposed are a bit..............weird. Like corona only attacks between certain hours. It's just strange.
