Were stores open on Sunday where you were?
Do you remember wax lips and the little wax things filled with sweet liquid. For the life of me I cannot remember what they were called.
Knowing what I know now about sugar, I cringe at all the horrible shit I ingested as a child. And yeah, I remember the wax lips/teeth filled with sickeningly sweet liquid, which I loved at the time. Pixie Stix were my fav's.
The corner store here still sells the wax bottles. It was always my favorite candy because it's fun to chew on the wax. I liked ju ju bees too.
Yes stores were closed on Sunday's when I was growing up.
As well as Jewish stores were closed on Saturday's, "their" Sabbath!
Yes i remember wax candies, I didn't like them. I did like Necco, Good and Plenty, Ju Ju beads, Peeps, and colored candy dots on a roll of paper.
