That was my first thought upon reading about the sandbox tree.
Sandbox trees grow 90-130 feet tall. They have a very distinctive gray bark covered with cone shaped spikes.The tree fruit looks like little pumpkins that dry into seed capsules that become ticking time bombs.
Funny, not funny. When they are mature they explode with a loud bang and fling their hard, flattened seeds up to 150 miles an hour and over a distance of 60 feet. The "shrapnel" will put a hurtin' on you.
