Do you mind getting dirty? I probably should have found a better way to phrase that.

I'm a tomboy girly girl. I like pretty things, but I don't mind getting dirty.

I ask because some people don't like getting dirty or even having a hair out of place.

My favorite getting dirty story is when I was a camp counselor. I had a cabin of about 10 girls. For the first part of the week it rained and we were all stuck indoors for the better part of each day. When it finally stopped raining we went outside and the girls wanted to play horseshoes. In the mud. They started throwing and with each land mud would splatter and no one cared and everyone got muddy and dirty.
Some of the other more prissy cabins were looking at us like we were crazy, but we had the most fun. I loved my campers they were the best!
And this was rustic style cabins for the 4H camp I attended from the time I was 9 until my last year in school.

You made memories that make you smile now when you recall them.

Getting dirty is almost always fun.  

I agree. I wouold even go so far as to say that I've had a couple of Dirty Jobs! (I love that show with Mike Rowe)

I watched a show Mike did where he had to take the cloth off of old bedding left on the side of the road and he found a dildo in the freakin thing. No damn way I would do that, not with all the ticks and bugs out there but people do that stuff all day.

My mom called me her "dirt magnet" since I was 4 or 5. She learned the hard way when we were going somewhere a very specific order to get us ready.  She got my four sisters dressed, and they sat in the living room watching TV. Then she got my brother ready; he sat patiently watching TV as well. Then she got my dad ready. and he started the car and had my siblings join him in the car. She finished getting herself ready, then she grabbed me cleaned me up, got me dressed and took me straight to the car. When we got to our destination, she grabbed me again took me inside so everyone could see I was clean, and she was a good mother. Then she would let go; 10 minutes later I was dusty dirty and had torn pants. 

Mud puddles you say Mirah. I did a residential subdivision where I had to stake out a new storm water drainage channel through the middle of an existing storm water management pond that covered 5 or so acres. The mud was 4' deep, and we had to wade through it. Got stuck twice lost a boot and ended up just working in my underwear and bare feet.

I think people expect boys to get dirty but not 10 little 9 year old girls. But not always, stupid stereotypes. I love mud! Think I'll go find myself some, just after I dig through all the snow first.
