Some peeps in new Hampshire were dead set against the northern pass, even tho the rest of new England was fine with it.  The result is new Hampshire gets to pay a 50% raise in rates,  while the rest of new England pays less than 10%.

Maggot, what is your most recent electrici bill like?
My NE eversource bill more then “doubled” in August from July! I called them, and  they said the delivery charge went up!

And the house is empty!
Northern pass would not add anything to Nh's power grid. It was going to be lines that would supply southern NE. We would get nothing. So I am glad it was never built. Now if the lines get put under ground that would be OK but nothing is more ugly than power lines sweeping through a peaceful valley. We run on tourists and they provide more money than northern pass would. Besides we have a nuclear plant that supplies 56% of our electricity.

Yes my bill went up but Sununu will be paying I think 50% of that soon. so time will tell. It went up 80.00 last month. It's 210.00 now
I wish Sununu would pay half of my bill.  My latest bill (which we pay in full every month to avoid carrying over)  was $520.00
Keep an eye out, thats the plan.
