If ⁹⁄₁₁ did anything good it was waking up America to the degenerate and careless tauntings of the Taliban. Striking at America by killing innocent civilians only served to announce to the world and the United States that they are willing to do anything including suicide to get the world to bend to their extremism. If they were indeed a recognized form of government they should have easily been able to bepersuasive in the forum of the world. Instead they attacked an icon and dealt a blow to the financial and personel welfare of America. Now Muslims and anything Arab is considered the enemy. To me it was a selfish use of force that not only attacked America but every Arab out there. But the Taliban does not care. Yes it was deserved but not on the level as simple as you have described. Flight 93 proved that Americans will not be held down easily for another country to take away our freedoms............we can do that ourselves if we want but not by anyone else's hands at least not without a fight.
