That story was incredible. What kind of revenue do you think all that spam generated? Obviously some idiots were taken in; especially by the herbal medicine scam. That immediately reminded me of Mark Hughes and Herbalife; and those 2 hour infomercials in the middle of the night. Do you remember that guy? Started in the trunk of his car, became a billionaire, and then died in his early 40's from being a drunk.

I imagine the internet spam industry is in the many hundreds of millions or maybe even billions of dollars world wide. Scary, but very real.

Wow, just imagine what could be done if all that shit was redirected into something worth our time to read when we opened our email
