I thought nothing could be worse then The Happening, but this piece of complete shit is quite possibly the single worst movie of 2008.

And it is my own fault for watching it. I had been told by EVERYONE that is SUCKED, but I still rented it. From the opening SECOND of the movie....it sucked. And not historically stupid Adam Sandler movies that were still funny. No, this was dumb, dumber and dumbest with barely a laugh the entire movie. There are about 100 cameo appearances from other actors and they suck also. It almost seems that Sandler has gotten so full of himself that he though he could put out a rotten movie and people would still go see it.

What boggles my mind is that this pile or horse shit had an estimated 90 MILLION DOLLAR budget. on the strength of Sandlers name it grossed just over 100 million in the US, making it barely pofitable (once you add in marketing and promotion, etc

Briefly the story is about Sandler playing The Zohan a super Mossad agent who has almost super powers, dances like a 70's jackass and is an all around idiot. Instead of being a terrorist he would rather cut hair in NYC. The predictable movie has a dumb love story and we get to see Sandler have simulated sex with about 15 women over the age of 65, another pointless part of the movie.

Dont waste your time
Don't waste your money
Don't see the Zohan, it sucks.

I stopped watching Sandler movies sometime back in the 90s.
I'm not surprised, I can't stand him. BUT, the trailer for this movie made me think it could be funny. Oh well!
If he was a woman I might love him more.
I think Adam Sandler is as funny as a rusty pitchfork to the jugular.

The modern breed of comedy actors are lame as fuck when you compare them to the likes of BillMurray, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin in their prime.

When Sandler started out, I thought he was fairly funny, and I liked a couple of his movies. Lately, he seems to be going in a downward spiral and making shit for movies. I won't be seeing this one. The previews just do nothing for me.

And to use Sandler and Murray, Chase, Murphy and Martin in the same space as Sandler is comic blasphemy, IMO. ::bigg:: Sandler wishes he could be compared to that group. He ain't even on the same planet.
I have to admit I quite liked Click.

But that was more to do with the script and the quite emotional ending that takes you a bit by suprise, the moral being don't put work before family because before you know it you will realise just how much you have missed.

You don't qualify for emotions. The feelings you get from rubbing off on your Disarmed Muslim Queen action figure aren't "emotions." Sexual perversion is tricky like that.

I really disliked Click. I just thought it was terribly dumb and it put me to sleep.
I think the big difference in Sandler's movies now from years ago is while they have always been dumb, at least in the old days there were some laugh out loud funny scenes. Now they just seem dumb to me.

I didn't see Click, so I can't comment on that one.
