Hilton is typical of the 21^st century breed of celebrity, years ago in order to be a celebrity you had to be good at something, acting, singing, writing, something creative that required talent.

What is Hilton famous for?, her surname and a tape of her fucking some block or other that appeared on the internet........erm...................thats it. Famous for the sake of being famous, I'll bet her fathers chest is swelled with pride.

While we ALL think she is a dumb bitch, you have to somewhat be impressed with the marketing machine she has created and literal career she has built doing....nothing but basically partying. We get called every single year at our clubs from the companies that represent her to see if we are interested in having her "make an appearance" at a party we host, or having her host a party at our facilities. There is just something about her that drives people to see her or be near her. It is not easily explained because I have been right next to her at events, and while she is not ugly, she IS NOT pretty. While much of the "space cadet" image IS an act, she also IS NOT very smart. It is marketing genius to be honest and the public continues to eat it up with no slowdown in sight.

You are an ididot. She didn't accomplish anything because of the things you listed. Those people tell her how to act, what to say, what not to say, where to look, when to speak, how to walk, how to dress, etc., etc. You don't actually think she came up with any of that on her own, do you? Sinister, while I normally respect your responses, I have to respectfully tell you that you are wrong. Read my post again, I said she has a great PR firm, which she does. I have been in the same room with her multiple times, backstage and not in front of the "public". Literally right next to her. The dumb girl you see on TV is a complete act. That DOES NOT mean she is a rocket scientist by any means, but knows what she is doing. She has HANDLERS all around her at all times, including her PR people. In many cases they tell her exactly what to do and in others she tells them what she is going to do. She is very good at manipulating the press to cover her every move, normally when there is no reason at all to do so.
You will never hear me tell you anything about bikers or anything pertaining to that topic because I admit to not knowing it. But in this case, I have first hand knowledge of the situation with her. This is not something I am proud of or think is "great", it just is what it is due to the industry I work in.

I don't know, she's certainly very good at self-promotion. Granted, if she's only following directions on how to be a media/attention whore, she's doing a damn good job of it. Personally, I think it's an inate talent of hers.
