I only have white friends. Not by choice really, thats just the way it turned out ::dunno::. I had some black friends in school who I never stayed in contact with, and I dated a black guy before I met my husband. Both of my moms sisters are married to black men also. So there you have it, those are my black folks.
My used to have a wicked best (female) friend who was black. She only used to date white guys though (straight up)
We lost touch a couple of years ago when she moved up north.

several of my co-workers were black people, made no difference. they wore the same badge and i expected them to back me up. as i would have done. it never was a consideration.

Until I was 12 I lived in a suburb JUST outside of Philadelphia (It was an easy walk into the city limits). As such I had many classmates who were black and most were also my friends. The only ones who weren't were shitheads and were in the exact same category as the Caucasian shitheads.
My sister is married to a black man. He and his family are great folks. His brother is a scream at parties and backyard BBQs and his dad was one of the nicest men I've ever met.
I'm not at all prejudiced or racist.
I believe there's good and bad amongst all people regardless of their ethnic group.
