i just gave the neighbor a bottle of peter lugar sauce, he was nice, helped to cut down overgrown foliage at front of house.

Let me know if he likes it on his steak! And yeah, I should be grilling later ... I do almost daily now, in the summer. I've been into grilling onions - thick slices. It's my new thing. I'll send you some. The package might be stinky.

I think some procuitto wrapped shrimp and scallops will go nice with those onions. Maybe some Caesar salad? A lovely lunch.

I am not returning to this foodie thread...It is annoying & irritating to my hungry self.

I will be grilling some portabella mushrooms with the onions, and either burgers if I am in the mood or a london broil I have in the frig right now.

Duchess - learn to grill, perhaps! It doesn't take a lot to be decent at it and it is tasty.

Take thick slices of Vidalias, maybe 1/2" thick, and brush them with balsamic vinegar before you grill. Slap 'em on a good burger and you will have a foodgasm.
