another thread made me consider this topic...do you have siblings and get along well with them? or dosome family members make you crazy?

my parents are deceased, and i absolutely love my sister and brother...shared history and memories. nobody else can ever relate to those childhood years. i am only sorry i don't live close to them.

a pic of my brother, w/o his face since i don't have his permission. i have no clue what he is doing. Smiley_emoticons_wink
I agree, nothing like a sibling. No one else can be as close to your view and experience, as they shared that vital part of life with you. You were both/all shaped from the same mold machine! I am glad I will be visiting my brother in a few weeks and the other in two months, with all three of us together! A rare event ...

I miss the little bitches and hate that we do not live closer together. I hate it when I see adult siblings that do live close together not get along or want to see each other, like my in-laws do ... what a shame ...
2 sisters and a brother. I'm the baby. We all get along great and live withing 20 miles of each other. I'm glad we get along and don't have to dread the holidays or other get togethers like some families do.

The only one in my family that nobody likes is my crazy aunt in Florida. She is the pic beside the definition of DRAMA QUEEN in the dictionary.

My family can't even have a decent funeral without her making it all about herself.::nuts::
An older sister who still loves in Michigan and and older brother that lives in Georgia. When my brother had the brain tumor surgery, all three of us were together and that was the first time in a long long time. My brother and I are super close and always have been. My sister and I are sister. If you didn't know we were sister, you would never guess. Of course I am the baby and was always a Daddy's girl. I can admit that I was/am spoiled.
Did you love in Michigan too ?

I was adopted.

The sister I grew up with (adopted family) and I were somewhat close until I moved up where I am (she lives near Philadelphia and I'm 2 hours upstate from her). Now we exchange cards on B-days and holidays plus the occasional phone call.

When I was 35 my biological sister found me and for 4 or 5 years we visited on holidays and a few times for BBQ's etc. I have 1 sister and brother and a half-sister. I guess the novelty faded for them and now I hardly hear from them or my biological father. Matter of fact, they were unaware of my 11 year old daughter! They only found out when my brother called me to tell me my mother had passed away.
