If you genuinely care about this person then no, I don't think you should have held your tongue...People that have issues like she appears to have NEED the people in their lives to be brutally honest with them.
They also need to admit to themselves they have a problem and then ask for help. No one can force help upon someone who does not see they have a problem. All you can do is show them where to get help and tell them to get it.
I wish those closer to her (geographically and family / friends) would stop enabling her and help her instead.
I used to care, I'm not so sure anymore.
I think I'm going to take a short vacation from Mock. It'd do all our nerves good at this point.

That's part of the reason I stay out of personal stuff. It winds up making a site some big weird clique drama circle thing. Soon, you can't Mock anyone because they are friends and get insulted.

I rethought my decision... I see JB was posting coherently and apparently quite happily at 24 yesterday morning so she's not in as bad a shape as was lead to believe. Just my opinion, I think she should apologize to the people she scared in here.
