This delightful circle was taken at Lamington National Park, west of the Gold Coast. These are native Australian mountain parrots, the red and blue kind are crimson rosella and the red and green are King Parrots. They are feasting on sunflower seed which Mr. Watt had left for them, but did not expect them to form such a perfect ring. This guy on the bottom is about to jump into the centre, to the discontent of the other birds.
Pretty cool picture.
You would think those green ones would have placed themselves evenly throughout the circle though.
I know a couple of cats that would love to organize them properly.

that is pretty cool.

I keep hearing in my head the line from MPFC's Dead Parrot sketch, "Beautiful plumage" when I look at it.

If I had been there at the time of the photo, I can guarantee I'd have a big, dopey smile on my face just looking at that.

D

Contrary to your usual expression Lumpy?

Pretty much, I'm not much of a smiler unless I mean it. Those assholes that talk to strangers with a "Smile!" comment only piss me off.

Or telling people you 'love' them, when you just 'like' them, or they are only acquaintances.

I get that all the time. Why the fuck should I have a big smile on my face while waiting in line at the grocery store 78 . It's only men that say that to me though, I feel like telling them to piss off you fucking moron.
