I like men to look a little dangerous while being brilliant and snarky.

He is yummy in the first photo - more-so than his untanned body in the second. Unless he is dark like that all the time and when he is in the "right" light he gets 'wash out' and looks very white? That happens to me all the time and why I rarely let photos of me get taken. My skin is much like that golden tan color like his in the first pic and it will fade a little in the winter months.
