Snob. LOL, j/k. No, but they look like they're a lucious soft leather (and they don't have stupid, fake logos all over them--which I can't stand). I have some with names and some without--I just like having a variety.

I bought one that appears to be a beautiful blue (for Spring) and then another one that's a dark chocolate brown.

The purse I got is really thick and supple leather and the hardware is very substantial.

i don't want to recommend this based on one good experience i had, but in case anyone is interested,this place: http://www.etsy.com/ has a lot of vintage and handmade things. some tacky crap too. but i met a very nice, honest and reasonable seller there when i was looking for a vintage tartan Scottish soft wool scarf. the price was perfect and i was very happy with it.

Doubtful. My backpack is evenly distributed weight on BOTH shoulders and uses the back for support. A fucking purse hangs down one side off ONE shoulder and swings around and shit.

Oh Etsy, how do I love thee, let me count the ways. I've gotten some AMAZING handmade jewelry on there before. Lemme see if I can find an example.

Even if I didn't carry a purse for me, I'd need one for my husband. Every time we go somewhere together, he ends up handing me his keys, sunglasses etc. and it all goes in my purse. Maybe I should get him a man bag. ::lol::
