My wife is buying me a pair of these for St Valentines day.

A pair of white Adidas Star Wars Stormtrooper trainers/sneakers!

:B
Well, you can always re-gift. 11
Are you kidding?

I will have the coolest feet in town wearing those babies.

I also have a pair of Tron sneakers that people ask me about whenever I wear them.

D

And here I just wear a pair of Steel Toe, Waterproof, Leather, Slip Resistant Hiking Boots. Comfortable, long lasting (I got 2 years of HARD use out of the pair I just threw away 2 days ago when I bought new ones that I'm wearing now), utility, and nice looking.

These are my everyday trainers, I've had them over 18 months and they are as tough as fuck. They are by K-swiss and are supposed to be "free runner" shoes, the only free running I do is to catch a bus.

D

I do have a pair of brand new tennis shoes as well. They were on clearance, and despite not having any logos they were in University of Michigan colors + white. I got them (A $60 pair of sneakers) for $16. I love clearance sales.

do those come in size 15 US? my son would probably like them. Smiley_emoticons_wink
I would think so yes, they are actually aimed at adults not children.
They also come in....

Luke Skywalker X-wing pilot boots.

Tie fighter sneakers.

and AT-AT walker boots.

D

Those aren't boots... they're just high topped sneakers. Fuck, doesn't anyone know the proper words for things these days?

Yes.

In the UK we call them basketball boots.

Please try and come to terms with this and move on with your life.

Basketball boots ?...28
I find the name sneakers equally stoopid.

We call them trainers because they are designed for training.

Do they design trainers in the US for sneaking?

::lol::

I say 'sneaks' or 'sneakers', or 'tennies' (for 'tennis shoes' - another common name for them in the US).

I like your shoes though! I have a neat pair of tan canvas Chucks and my son has a pair of little baby Chucks.

These are what I wear most of the time though:

Seriously, you should take some sort of injection to counter your emotionally stunted needs. Star Wars shoes!? You DO realize that your wife thinks you're bisexual, right?
Digging up threads from four days ago now Frank just to take another pathetic little dig at me?

The day I take fashion advise from styleless cretin like you is the day hell will freeze over.

Stars wars is Bisexual now you fucking fruit loop?
i like the AT-ATs. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

Reebok is hoping the Super Bowl will put a shine on its new shoe, an athletic sneaker the Canton company describes as an “energy drink for your feet.”

The company launched the ZigTech - hyped as its most technologically advanced running and training shoe - aboard a yacht in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., yesterday with a crew of NFL stars and actress Molly Sims as host.

Red Sox slugger David Ortiz is among hundreds of other athletes who have been running and training in the ZigTech footwear.

Available March 11, the $100 ZigTech provides a “soft and springy ride” and allows athletes to train longer because it puts less strain on key muscles, Reebok said. Its brightly colored, zigzag-shaped foam sole is designed to absorb the impact when the heel strikes the ground, sending a “wave of energy” along the length of the shoe that helps move the wearer forward.
Those shoes look like they would be great for running, but talk about homely.
