You're generalizing...I know plenty of smart people with dogs...I'm one of them and so are a few other Mockers.

Well of course some dog owners are retards. Many owners of domesticated animals, regardless of type, are retards.
Dogs ARE higher maintenance than cats, as we all know, but properly trained, they can be very easy to care for.
I've heard that the absolute epitome of pet owners, raise and breed hamsters, but that report could have been misleading.
We had a hamster for awhile--it was a mean little fucker.
We have guinea pigs now--clever pet owners choose guinea pigs.
I've also got a dog and a cat so I've got several bases covered. Damn, I'm fucking BRILLIANT!
I need to tell myself that when I'm cleaning up guinea pig feces. :'(
And I just read an article a couple of weeks ago where the study said cat pet owners were neurotic....go figger.
Fucking cats...I share the house with a couple of the stuck up little fuckers, but it is an always up for debate as to who owns who.
Sometimes I wonder how you can be so flammable and still be so arrogant.
We had a cat for 17 years and he owned our ass. Dogs, pretty dumb compared to cats but devoted and adoring.
We cant have cats now cuz #4 is allergic otherwise I would consider it. Our dog is so needy she sits on our feet and must be touching a human at all times.
