OK, Monday afternoon we are picking up a new car..we are getting a 2009 Nissan Cube. The official color is "super black"--which I am sure Julie will somehow find racist, but I do not care. We are leasing which is a good deal for us.
The car is pretty ugly, but that is what makes it cool. Will tell you more after we get it.
Cube...meh, I would have named it the "shitbox"
I've always liked Nissans, actually I always liked Datsuns, but was never modern enough to get a Nissan when the name changed.
I had a Datsun B210, that was a great little car.

I like the way those Cubes look.
I have found that any new car is a good car.
I put about a million miles on one of these. It was a sad day when I gave up on that car.

I think we will like our Cube. We were at the damn place for 3 hours. BUT..they seem to treat customers well...they actually had a lunch table set up..they bring in rolls and lunch meat and you get to make a sub. Plus free drinks (O, soda pop, not toddies).
Actually, this the first NON American car either of us has ever owned. When the American Automakers can get their shit together and make cars that get decent mileage, we would reconsider. But we'd like an electric car once before we die. Maybe not a Toyota Prius right now..but an electric.

OK-Ugliest car released in the last decade. After all, we have the Gremlin to consider as well.
My mom had a Gremlin when I was in high school... I LOVED that car. It had a V6 in it and that little car could really haul ass.
