no, i don't shop there. i consider ebay the biggest fence of stolen goods in the country.

Some might be stolen but it's also a place where people get rid of their own items from compulsive hoarding so they can acquire more. One man's mental illness, etc.

I usually pop in there when I plan on buying something anyway. They even have new stuff from places like Bath and Body Works, Avon, etc. And you can't beat the silver jewelry and mineral specimens from China... they practically pay YOU to bid on them.

Even tho I had a smart ass reply, I don't actually believe that the thingsI purchase are all hot.

I think I could tell if the jewelry I bought had been used but then I haven't spent more than a few hundred on anything there so maybe I'm not high class enough to buy stolen goods.

By the way, I realize this'll gross you out, but I've bought 'used' shoes on there and I've been very happy with them. There was no wear on the soles, and no scuffs on the rest of the shoe, so I trust the descriptions when they said 'only worn once' or whatever. I got some American version of UGGS that are pink that I wear for slippers around the apartment and the fleece inside is still virginal and fluffy. I looooooove them.
