No surprise there. I've heard he may be the first candidate to break the billion dollar mark in contributions.
I really hope he doesn't get re-elected. Really really.
He intends to buy the election.

When are the Republicans going to put forward a candidate?, why the delay?, is nobody going to step up to the plate? Is it going to be a case of choosing between Sarah Palin and Donald Trump? if so you may as well give Michelle Obama a sample book for what drapes she wants in the Whitehouse for the next four years.

Unlike Bush who won an election when technically he didn't?

Maybe you missed this the first time.

You see in this country when one candidate conceeds it means he lost and the other one won.

"Concedes".

The 2004 election was the one as crooked as a dogs hind leg dipshit.
Same speech different person, same outcome, when one candidate concedes the other one won.

Sure it was contentious, but only because Kerry couldn't grasp the concept of losing.

Wouldn't that be great if we could send this to washington and expect it to work.

Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. I don't see either of those as great contenders.
We need to dust Fred Thompson off again. I like that dude.

What about Gary Johnson of New Mexico?

Herman Cain is black, and would get a lot of the minority vote, but would this be another I-voted-for-himbe-becausebe-he-be-blackbe? (hahahah Mushmouth! Hey Hey Hey!)

hah I actually do like him--at least he seems like a straight talker.

I'd like the next administration (whoever that is) to tackle some of the recommendations made by the by-partisan budget deficit commission (hell, I'd like them tackled in the current budget talks). I heard on CNN yesterday that the Tea Party largely focuses on spending cuts in the 20% "discretionary" portion of the budget vs. the 80% entitlements (S.S., medicare, defense spending etc.) and that what they propose we cut wouldn't come near to addressing the deficit. I don't want to balance the budget on the back of, say, education. I think we need to address that 80% too. And I'm all for some immigration reform. And union reform!

OP..not sure if he was in Die Hard, but he is a former US Senator who left to go act...and he was the DA on Law & Order for a few years. Or maybe he left acting to be a senator..I forget.

YES!

He is born-again Ronnie to me. hahaha

He is a no-nonsense man from Tennessee. He was an attorney, then worked in intelligence, then the politics and acting. I don't think he's too old to be president, but I think HE thinks he is too old to mess with it.

He would be the best candidate to oppose Obama in my eyes.

I like him too. He seems like the kind of dude that won't take any nonsense.
You think that the old fart from Die Hard 2 can take on and beat Obama?

Good luck with that.
